Health Care
We liaise with
doctors, social workers, chiropodists, pharmacists,
opticians and district nurses in all aspects of healthcare
for residents.
We are
equipped with 2 spa baths, for the comfort and enjoyment of
our residents and these are supervised by trained staff and
we have regular visits by a trained aromatherapist.
Appointments are arranged on request.
We have the
full support of a professional team on hand to advise and
assist with any problems that may arise requiring extra help
from outside the home.
Our client
group is especially prone to illness and the decision as to
whether a GP's services are required is a daily occurrence.
To maximise
the quality of such decision making involves having an
alert, well-informed staff capable of noticing and reporting
changes in the resident's condition in order that
management may identify occasions when qualified medical
assistance is required.

Each resident
within Woodbridge Lodge has a full holistic care programme
which addresses social, emotional and physical care. We look
to achieve user friendly programme identifying arrangement
for each person's privacy, dignity and independence.
The
development of the care programme will involve the resident,
their family, keyworker, district nurse, social worker
general practitioner and any other professional or
interested part in the residents care.
